ONE PLUS 7 CONFIRMED? | 5G OR Snapdragon 855?
The OnePlus 6t may still be a relatively new phone, but it’s now time to look ahead to what we assume will be called the OnePlus 7. While OnePlus phones have been getting more expensive, the fact is that they’re still far cheaper than other flagship phones out there — making the upcoming OnePlus 7 even more exciting.
LAUNCHING DATE : MAY 19 2019(Unofficial)
The OnePlus 7 could use the Snapdragon 855 chipset, be one of the first phones with 5G and have 10GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 6T has 6GB and 8GB RAM options with 128GB and 256GB storage models so we'd expect at least that for the OnePlus 7.
OnePlus 7 Camera:
The camera is the area where OnePlus devices probably fall down the most compared to their more expensive rivals. Samsung and Huawei both offer excellent camera results and though OnePlus makes a good effort, it isn't on par with them despite coming on leaps and bounds since the original model.
The leak of an unseen prototype in what appears to be an internal OnePlus briefing could suggest that OnePlus is going to put more cameras on the back of the phone, but there's very little to go on and we're not totally convinced it's a genuine device.
We will be updating this feature regularly as more rumours and speculation surrounding the OnePlus 7 appear so keep checking back.
5G Technology
The most reoccurring rumor about OnePlus 7 is that it’s going to be the first smartphone from OnePlus to feature 5G technology. This is amazing news for OnePlus fans since it means that OnePlus 7 will offer faster mobile data connection and download speed. To make things even better, OnePlus 7 would be one of the world’s first smartphones to feature 5G connectivity and this is surely going to give it a big advantage when competing against the likes of Samsung and Apple.
· Triple Camera Setup
The last thing that we want to talk about when it comes to OnePlus 7 is the fact that the next-gen smartphone is expected to ship with a triple camera-setup. According to leaks the setup will be like 24-megapixel front-facing camera and 24-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple rear cameras with support for 4K slow motion video shooting.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 is official, meaning we're about to get a sneak preview of the mobile processor, It’s the chip that will almost certainly appear in the first wave of 5G phones. Qualcomm has said this new platform will support “multi-gigabit” download speeds on 5G networks.
Qualcomm is the world's largest supplier of mobile chipsets, and its latest 855 will drive major Android devices in 2019, a roster that's likely to include flagship handsets from Samsung, Google and LG.
At Qualcomm's Snapdragon Technology Summit in Maui, Hawaii this week, partners like Samsung, OnePlus, Verizon and AT&T talked up their plans for 5G devices and networks in 2019. Samsung, for instance, said it will launch 5G phones in the US in the first half of 2019, and will work with AT&T and Verizon on a total of three models. OnePlus announced its 1st 5G phone, which will go to Europe
